Beliefs
I believe in a person-centered approach to meet the various needs of those receiving services by, bridging the gap, and offering guidance towards healing through mindfulness, meditation, teaching coping skills, emotional management techniques, self-care planning, goal, and boundary setting, and providing supportive talk by utilizing virtual counseling & coaching.
Experience
I have obtained a diverse professional skill set through my experience as a Counselor. I am practicing and providing individual, couples, psycho-educational groups, & consultation services for adults.
Education
I have earned a Master’s of Arts Counseling, with a concentration in Trauma & Grief, and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Service–Counseling from Old Dominion University, with a focus on Mental Health and substance abuse. I am currently on the LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor and LSATP, Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner track, in preparation for Licensure.”
