My name is Ms. Candace Prescott. I am a professional clinical mental health counselor focusing on anxiety and depression.
Belief
I believe in helping clients draw from their strength and pain to allow them to deal, heal and thrive. My role as a mother has strengthened my skills as a leader, listener, and advocate. My ability to connect and build relationships will help my clients to gain the skills and knowledge to create positive changes and walk in their purpose. I use best practices and help clients find their voice and confidence to soar to new heights personally and professionally.
Experience
My clinical areas of focus are Adults, couples, families, and individuals who struggle with Depression, Anxiety, Sexual Identity, Sexual Orientation, Parenting, Shame, Self-Esteem, Life Transitions, Relationship Issues, and more. Creating a safe environment and allowing clients to be accessible to express their issues and concerns without judgment is a significant priority for me as a professional counselor.
Education
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. I earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology & Social Science from Penn State University as well. I am an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Licensed Professional Counselor Association- of Georgia, and the International Honor Society Chi Sigma Iota-Omega Zeta Chapter.
